ABOUT
“Kneel And Pray On It” prayer mats was born out of my personal pain of trying to get down on my knees and pray. When I did happen to make it down, I found it difficult to pray for any extended time due to the pain that I was experiencing. In my case, the culprit of my pain and stiffness was Parkinson’s disease. Being a man of faith, part of my coping regime included prayer, but I found the pain prohibitive. I know that it is NOT a requirement that one kneel when they pray – it is just my preferred posture to remind myself to bow as a sign of humility. Being reluctant to grab a bed pillow and place it on the floor, I looked for an alternative cushion.

Initially, I gained comfort from the use of a foam cushion and one day had the thought that others could probably benefit from a simply designed prayer pad offering support, comfort, and a reminder to spend time in prayer. Additionally, while I was enduring my health challenges, having stored my prayer pad beside my bed, I would be reminded that no matter what the question, situation, or challenge that I should always Kneel And Pray On It.
